Yes, and from the trailer, it looks like the whole team is really going to work together to prevent Iris' future death instead of Barry trying to do it alone. About time! Maybe Barry is starting to learn from his past mistakes?

Smart thing is to do the Doc Brown idea and have Iris be wearing a stab vest. Savitar does his stabby bit, past!Barry sees it. Once he's gone, Iris sits up. Bonus points if she then zaps Savitar with some doohickey while he's in gloaty mode.

A standard stab vest would work against a knife but it would not work against Savatar's huge blade. We see Savatar's entire blade go straight through Iris' body. The stab vest would have to be made of adamantium or something.
I think DC's version is called Promethium...
If only they knew some guys with a timeship outfitted with medical tech that could easily repair her. If only...
Or maybe get some of that dark star alloy that the atom suit is made of. I hear it's pretty tough. It could probably help Iris survive Savatar's attack.
That's dwarf star material. The original idea in the comics was that it was a fragment of the degenerate matter of a white dwarf star, matter that's compressed to a far greater density -- i.e. a far smaller size -- than normal, so that in some handwavey manner it could be harnessed to compress or enlarge other matter. (The "dwarf star alloy" usage is actually from Doctor Who, not DC -- I made that mistake myself until recently.)

I hope they understand not everyone watches all the shows. Hope they do it in a way in which they keep that mind.
Yes, they understand that some fools (their words, not mine) don't watch everything, and this entirely is a trick to make those fools (still their words, very-very rude people) start watching everything.
