Spoilers The Flash - Season 3

The Flash facebook page says that Savatar's identity will be revealed tomorrow night. The wait is almost over.

Good then we can go back to discussing the actual episodes rather than more speculating. There were good things about last week that were not Savitar related. For example, everyone was talking about Emo berry's hair but what was up with Cisco's look. It was like a Casanova look or something.

I am sure that people will still have a lot to say about Savatar regardless of who he turns out to be.

In that sewer place when they were trying to stop Alchemy. Only Barry could see him.

But that was when Savitar was trapped in the Speed Force and could only get out temporarily by using the Philosopher's Stone as a conduit. So only speedsters could see him. Now that he's escaped from the Speed Force, I think everyone can see him.

Still...it was how they met...

From Barry's perspective, it's how they first met. From Savitar's perspective, they'd met long before. Time travel, y'know.

Anyway, I thought you were saying there was a contradiction in the fact that Killer Frost could see Savitar in last week's cliffhanger. And I think the reason for that is what I said.

Still...it was how they met...
But that was when they hadn't met before. After that meeting, when they met it was no longer the first time they met, and then they met again, and it wasn't even the second time that they met.

Sorry, couldn't resist. :p

Savitar went all zoom on berry, dragging him around like a ragdoll.
Savitar could have easily went all Zoom on Zoom, dragging him around like a ragdoll. He was portrayed as so fast it's reaching the point of ridiculousness. At one point in that first meeting, he was so fast you thought he was moving at Flash-speed from Flash's perspective. Wasn't he shown to literally go so fast on screen he was teleporting from spot to spot? If Flash beats that guy, what could possibly top him with next season? A video game boss, like a Pacific Rim-sized Kaiju speedster or something? The show getting cancelled? (But it also means he could be Barry's time remnant. Maybe. )

Wasn't that a byproduct of being trapped in the speedforce?
I got the impression he could do all that because he wasn't actually in the world, just manifesting himself through something something speedforce, but now that he's out he's more constricted to the regular kind of speedforce magic. He's still a bit faster than Barry, but "normally" faster, not stupid faster.

They've said the big bad next season won't be a speedster.
Barry will have to rely on his wits, not speed, so... basically he'll lose. :D

Ahh,
Because with identity comes explanation and it's that part in worried about.

Understood completely. I'm glad that the show is going with a non-speedster villain next year. It should have been this year. Villains like Dr. Alchemy, Mirror Master, and Abra Kadabra could have been great if they hadn't already been rendered useless.
