Nitpick #1: It seems the writers took some big liberties with Cisco's powers when they had him vibe Mon El and Iris into Barry and Kara's minds. It seems like a big departure from what his vibe powers are supposed to be able to do.
That was in the unaltered future where Barry and Iris weren't engaged.
BTW, I learned last night that the Batman: The Brave and the Bold version of the Music Meister did end up being added to the comics, so he's not just a "TV-only character".

An observation: it is interesting how nonchalant Team Flash was about meeting Martian Manhunter and Mon El. I guess they are so used to meeting aliens and metas from parallel universes that it is completely ordinary to them now.
For what it's worth, my brain went to 'Back to the Future', but then it's a reasonably common trope for the period. My memory of the episode could be wrong, but Cisco's line about "getting his big break and being somebody" sounded almost verbatim to a line from TNG's The Royale.
It was left ambiguous whether they were "inside their minds" or in some alternate dimension shaped by their minds (like Beverly Crusher in TNG's "Remember Me"). Vibe's ability to access it suggests it was the latter.
Although not necessary, it might have been nice if the episode had made it a bit more clear. One quick line of dialogue about Barry and Kara's minds being in an alternate dimension would have made the scene more believable.

I enjoyed the episode overall. The only song I had a problem with was the first big number. I thought they should have eased into it a little bit more.
Both intentionally went to the well of the most obvious cliches![]()
2. made me ship Karry even more.
Is it bad that I wanted the story to throw us a total curveball and get those two together instead of them going back to Mon-El and Iris?
Lame story line. They were in a world built in their minds, however a death there was real death.
