I didn't care for BvS, so I have't really participated in that thread. Beyond voting in the poll I've left it alone.

TV shows are a different animal. If you hate a show and keep watching, asking why seems a legitimate question.
 
How can they assume that another particle accelerator explosion will give Barry super speed again? Couldn't it cause some other effect like the one Griffin had or some of the other meta-humans? Is Wells able to cause just the effect he wants? Since when?

Criticizing things about a show doesn't mean you hate it. That's the argument people like you keep making. But it quickly disappears when people like you are the ones with the criticisms.

That would be the point.

It's hurt the Supergirl thread because of it. There's some posters who basically hate watch the show and honestly it's not fun having a conversation when there's so much hate for the show that you love that you should feel bad for liking it.

Implicitly, Barry's speed was created by the combination of the dark-matter wave, the chemicals in the lab, and the lightning bolt. I would assume that they'd try to recreate the physical conditions of Barry's original exposure as closely as possible. There may also be a genetic factor, which would explain why different people exposed to the wave got different abilities (though not why Killer Frost got powers when Caitlin didn't).

Was going to say perhaps she wasn't exposed the dark matter because she was inside the wave (i.e it spread out from the accelerator ring and she was inside the ring) but then Carlos was exposed so I guess that rules out that theory.

There's been a psychological ingredient to all the meta's powersets we've seen so far.
 
I have to agree that the quality of this last quarter of the season has just not been what we've grown to expect from this show. Hopefully it will pick up before the end. What happened to the altered timeline--where's the guy who is now suddenly alive? That was just dropped?

Thinking outside the box a little for the man in the iron mask, here are some possibilities:

Captain Marvel (The mask prevents him from saying Shazam) or possibly Black Adam. Johnny Thunder?
Another JSAer like Alan Scott or Al Pratt, or maybe Dr. Fate
Another long time friend of Flash's like Hal Jordan or Ralph Dibney
Someone whom we expected to be dead like Eddie Thawne or Ronnie Raymond.
 
I'm wondering we all have our speculations but I'm wondering about the morse code that he uses. I hope when we do get a reveal they might explain what the code was. I get this feeling it's a lot bigger than we are being let on.

I like the idea of Ronnie Raymond behind the mask. We didn't actually see him die. Didn't he just vanish in the event horizon over the city?
