So far as the movie theater(?) is concerned, I'll throw out an idea I had back when there was talk of a 3-D IMAX Trek movie: Tying into the museum's "History of the Future," what about a history of flight and space exploration, etc.? Essentially, the opening titles to Enterprise, but without the song and with more detail/narration/etc., starting out with the factual and then moving into the fictional realm in the mid-late 21st century and on. Sort of like In the Shadow of the Moon for the Trek sect (and an obvious excuse to show those ships on the big, big screen.)
Not that this should be the anchor feature in such a facility, but it'd be neat if they could offer more than one film in such a space, like they do at "regular" IMAX theaters around the country.
I'm sure they could get tom hanks to whip something up.![]()
As long as they keep Deanna away from the flight controls of Apollo 13, we'll be all set...
