KIRK: Can you do it?

SCOTT: I don't know, sir.

(A/N: You don't know Scotty? That ain't the miracle worker I know.)

KIRK: You have fifteen minutes, Scotty.

If he had said he could, Kirk would have asked for it done in five minutes.

[Cloaking device room]

TAL: Commander, the cloaking device is gone.

 

[sekundant]

COMMANDER: Full alert. Search all decks.
(Tal and a guard leave.)

SPOCK: That will be profitless, Commander. I do not believe you will find it.

 

[Orac]

Commander: You must be mad.

 

[LeadHead]

Spock: I assure you, I am quite sane.

 

[Kertrats47]

COMMANDER: Why would you do this to me? What are you that you could do this?

SPOCK: First officer of the Enterprise. (Broken-hearted, she slaps his face.) What is your present form of execution?

KIRK: Captain's log, stardate 5027.4. Commander Scott has less than fifteen minutes to install the Romulans' cloaking device and get it working. I hope Mr. Spock can buy us the time we need.

[Bridge]

(As Scott struggles with the alien tech in Engineering, occasionally saying 'Drat', Kirk gets into his own uniform and walks onto the Bridge.)
SULU: Captain!

CHEKOV: You're alive!

 

[Hopeful Romantic]

UHURA: They said you'd been killed, sir.

 

[sekundant]

KIRK: The report was premature.

CHEKOV: Captain, your ears. What happened?

KIRK: We'll discuss it later. Mister Sulu, lay in a course for home. Mister Chekov, take the sensors. Mister Spock is still aboard the Romulan flagship. I want his body readings pinpointed and isolated. That was not a request, gentlemen.

 

[sekundant]

CHEKOV: Aye, sir.

SULU: Aye, sir.
