The end of Kurn (brainwashing)

Would Riker and Pulaski have killed clones of Troi and Picard?

If they had they consent... without hesitation but otherwise I don't think they would have dared. Riker waited for Pulaski's nod before disintegrating her clone.

To add insult to injury, later on Worf and Alexander were accepted into the House of Martok, which by that time was undoubtedly a very influential and esteemed house due to Martok's position as general, and then even more so when he became chancellor. Worf has this high-profile, prestigious career as he advances to ambassadorship. Meanwhile, Kurn/Rodek is living out a dreary backwater existence in some "small but proud" house that nobody ever heard of.

Random question from that: why is it called the "House of Martok" rather than Martok's dad or ancestor, but Worf doesn't go by the "House of Worf"? What are the rules for naming houses?

Wasn't the House of Mogh basically disbanded in "Sins of the Father"?

Though I guess Gowron undid that, but maybe at that point the house becomes the name of its current lord at that point?

Martok was born a commoner so he would've been the founder of his house. Worf's house is supposed to be older I think, but Mogh could've just been named for the house's founder.

Great in-universe explanation! It also clarifies that Martok is the head of the house, not some younger son.
I expect calling it "House of Great-Grandfather Kiloth" would also be a lot more confusing for the casual viewers.

Kurn would not have gotten his honor back: land, followers, title, position on the council.

Gowron restored the House of Mogh the first time Worf's discommentation was undone and Martok could presumably have done the exact same thing as Chancellor. Even then, Kurn's situation is due to being a pariah in Klingon society from the actions of his brother, who is now a hero of the Empire (again).

I feel like it's a reasonably common thing in the empire. Didn't we see a 'Duras' in DSC as well as in TNG?

And Worf wouldn't give Bashir a death threat because that is not honorable:klingon:

Didn't Worf threaten Bashir when he was striking up a friendship with Ezri? Worf correctly predicted that it would turn into a relationship and Bashir was thereby dishonoring Jadzia's memory.

That was not a death threat. When Worf makes a death threat, you will know it.

If Worf had said anything to Bashir, it was probably a joke.

I mean, Worf knows as well as anyone that (symbiont notwithstanding) Jadzia and Ezri are different people. So he couldn't possibly think that Julian would be dishonoring Jadzia by hooking up with Ezri. Not even Worf is that thick.

And Worf would have been a hypocrite if he'd had any serious problem with Julian going after Ezri. Dax hosts prior to Jadzia have all been married, haven't they? If Worf isn't dishonoring them, then Julian isn't doing it with Jadzia's memory.

It was shortly after Ezri joined the crew, so Worf obviously wasn't over Jadzia's death yet and took it out on Bashir.

They patch things up shortly after with O'Brien playing the role of peacemaker.
