Looks like it.
No. The flash-sideways was like ... a weighstation.
No, they all died at various times in their life. Jack died on the Island like we just saw. Frank rescued people on the Ajira plane, but they all died at some point after living their lives. Hugo and Ben died at some point after watching over the Island.
But they all went to the Alternate Reality (Afterlife) and found each other!
Well that sucked. Guess they decided to use fans musings of hell but reverse it and make it end in heaven. Meh. I hate when shows start dealing with heaven and hell. Just another easy way to explain away everything they couldnt explain. Sigh. Another series ruined with a sucky ending. I can move on too now.
I think I'm more confused than ever, so was that the Ajira flight leaving? If so does that mean it all really did happen and everyone on the Ajira flight really did get away? Everyone else is dead though?
Juliet blew up the bomb last season
I think it was the ajira leaving.
The plane flying overhead was the Ajira plane that Frank was flying.
It'll take time to digest, but my immediate reaction is a feeling of mild irritation. Glurgy spiritual endings always feel like such a cheat.
Now that I can accept. Thank you
That is the best summary right there, and i am going to go with this theory for right now, cause it makes the most sense. So everything did happen. I'm going to side with your summary, I like it.
That was awesome!
Whats up with Ben though? What does he need to work out?
They made it back and lived full lives probably. Everyone else who died did die. Some at different times. The whole flash sideways was a waiting station for heaven. Another stupid ending like BSG. Writers always come up with a similar idea when they have written themselves in corners.
Yes and yes.
Everyone is dead eventually. Christian was telling the precise truth there. But Frank et al,. left the island and lived out their natural lives. And then died.
At this moment, this is how I will choose to interpret it.
Lost has entertained me for six seasons, I will remember it fondly.
Hugo confirmed it when he said Ben was a good #2
Didn't the producers say over and over again that they weren't dead? I seem to recall them utterly denying this year after year!
Yeah, so did Ben go to hell? lol
Which is why Aaron was there as a baby, like he was on the island.
