2GB management might be able to breath a bit easier as it will reduce the chances of the station getting sued or losing it's license.

There is a god.
I had to check the date on that.

Funny old story I found from 2018. How could they have messed this up?

So, that poisonous piece of shit Jones will be clearing out soon. Excellent. (If you've no idea who I'm talking about, consider yourself very fortunate.)
I was never a big fan of Jones but he’s always had a populist appeal. That’s the refreshing thing about Australia that media representation and reality are so different. The culture war will continue fine without him.

Yes. One of the many, many completely contemptible acts that waste of oxygen was responsible for.

Wasn't Jones one of the people that inflamed or started the Cronulla riots?
No. Although he referred to middle eastern gangs as scum he also explicitly spoke against violence.
The riot was a result of backlash to gang violence capitalised on by The White Australia party and other white nationalist groups. Jones condemned violence on Australians.

Just the old ABC leftist narratives doing their thing.

Yes, Jones was responsible.

Speaking of contemptible... NSW Premier Gladdy is telling front line workers they will be in effect getting a pay cut as a promised raise is not delivered... while at the exact same moment giving big payrises to NSW Govt department heads, putting them well over half a million p.a.

Where is the justice?

There used to be such seas...

It was this big...

And then shrank to this...

It was called the Eromanga Sea. It is also no coincidence the Great Artesian Basin is roughly in that position of the sea in the second picture.

In these lockdown times, try and track down Australia: The Time Traveller's Guide. It's a great insight into this ancient land's really ancient history. It's not in iView sadly, but is in iTunes, and you can purchase it on YT, $6/ep, or $22/full season (4 eps). I have also seen it in... other places. :shifty:
