probably be another couple of weeks before the next polls are out. News Poll was out this week with labor leading 52/47 and Essential came out with them leading 55/45.
There is a push to increase the number of sitting days so the banking rc can be addressed but that's coming down to whether katter votes for it or against it. I'm the lnp will be preasuring him to vote against it. They don't want the parliamentary scrutiny.
The shit is also hitting the fan over the AFP raids on the AWU and who leaked it to the media. Not only has the name of the leaker being revealed in court but also that cash's office told keenan's office despite the latter telling the parliament the opposite.
Finally ipa stooge tim wilson is getting deeper in the shit over a massive conflict of interest.

The Liberals have done everything except directly call some people smugglers and offer them money to send a few boats. And I wouldn't be surprised if the navy has received a quiet directive to take a bit less care with their patrolling of the oceans en route from Indonesia. If a boat manages to slip through the government will be wildly celebrating.
and I wouldn't put it past the sacks of shit to claim boats already in transit are a response to the vote even though the journey takes several weeks

Don't think it was a cut to funding, but they put it out to tender and ch7 won and immediately downgraded the service (what did the Asia Pacific region do to deserve hey dad reruns?) but I can't remember the details and they seem to be missing from wikipedia.

And while I don't think much of her as a politician (or a person generally) by the standards of the Liberal party generally, she was a beacon of shining light in comparison.

lnp trolls were out last spreading through social media the govt had made up ground to be 51/49 in newspoll. sadly for them it's come out that newspoll is unchanged as 53/47 (and that's via news corpse).
so the ipsos poll they were crowing about last week was an outlier and the govt continues to stink like last weeks fish and that big scare campaign following the medivac bill being passed has come to nothing (and maybe people are waking up to the fact more assylum seekers and illegal immigrants are arriving by plane).
the libs candidate for Mayo in S.A (blow-in daughter of alexander downer) is in the shit. Govt funding when to an organsiation in the electorate and she rocks up to do the presentation with novelty cheque with the liberal party logo plastered on it. The current member (independant Rebekah Sharkie) didn't know about the funding grant until the libs had the presentation already prepared. The matter is being referred to the auditor general.
Not sure if anything will come of it but it would be nice if she wasn't able to run in the election but odds are that she's going to lose again. Sharkey thumped her at the by-election last year and is well entrenched in the electorate.

Did anyone see that Fraser Anning held a rally in Hobart and a total of 12 supporters turned up. One guy was asked by a woman if he was a Nazi and he went off on a rant stating he had an Aboriginal daughter so he could not be a Nazi. Only problem was that he had a photo up on Facebook that showed him sitting in his home with a swastika in the background.
I don't think anyone has ever said that anning is smart.
