The principal of the school that the woman's son attends saying she is lying. Her son was never told that.
Also people on Facebook are laughing at the woman who mention that children are being told to role play being in a same sex relationship. People are telling stories about the roles they played at school - trees, sheep etc - and how these roles had a life long affect on them. Some of the stories have been quite funny.

I shouldn't be but I am often shocked my the selfishness of some of my fellow Australians.
On Facebook I am talking about how I might be put onto this Cashless Welfare Card. I do not drink smoke or gamble. I do not own a car, a dryer or a dishwasher. In the debate I admitted that I have used my pension money to buy a washing machine. It seems that that is considered to be a luxury and my pension should not be spent on it. I should only spend my pension on the bare necessities of live.
One of these arseholes went through my timeline and than told me off for spending $75 on a book. The book is about the 1967 Tasmanian bushfires, that disaster I lived though that traumatised me as a young child. The book mentioned several people I know including my aunt and my uncle. It goes into details about what happened in my suburb, in fact I learned that 25% of the houses lost in Hobart were lost in my suburb. It also goes into details of the loss of Snug, the town that my grandparents and uncle and aunt lived in. It mentions how my aunt looked after a badly burned child as they took refuge in waist deep water at the beach at Snug. My aunt never told me that story.
This arsehole is angry that I wasted his taxpayers money on this book. I have offered to reimbursed him the cost of the book but he says I a, being a smartarse.

That is just low. But it wouldn't surprise me with some people on Facebook. People like that is one reason why I don't get involved that much on some pages over politics in this country.
I normally don't argue this much on Facebook but the idea that everyone of working age (ie up to 65) might be put onto one of these cards appals me. Supporters of the cards are saying that the only things restricted on the cards are alcohol, drugs and gambling which is far from true. There are so many online stores that have not been approved. It looks like you will never be able to use the card on eBay,
People will only be able to get 20% of their money in cash, that 20% will have to be used to do all the following -
eBay or other purchases from unapproved online stores
Farmer markets (usually no eftpos)
Road side stalls
Garage sales
Op shops without eftpos
Small shops that can't afford to use eftpos
Bus fares
Parking meters
Paying a neighbour/friend to babysit or mow your lawn etc
Wood deliveries, they usually insist on cash
Water deliveries, usually cash

And if they want to drug test those on welfare what about testing all the politicians and staffers who are there on the tax payer dollar as well.

I can't understand why they even released the footage to the public. All it shows is how piss poor they are of filing something, as no one can tell what that something is.
122 million spent on something that could have passed after A few hours of debate in the House. They don't let us vote on whether to send people to war, so why have a vote on Same Sex Marriage especially as the 'vote' is really only a survey and is not legally binding. There has been plenty of polls that show most people are in favour of SSM.
