it if wasn't sad it would be funny when kerrs like abetz (and I bet his nazi relatives would be proud of him) bleat about these poor persecuted Christians.
It's a pity they don't pay as much attention when the Christians are the ones doing the persecution.
My mum was pretty pissed with her NBN installer - she told them she wasn't going to be home. Several times, It took one very blunt phone call before they finally got the message.
Then theere was some sort of issue with the phone line (I don't think they explained it would become a VOIP service and about how to plug the phone). When she called her ISP (TPG) they were pretty unhelpful and frankly unprofessional.
I phoned up my Telstra case manager an Indian woman named Rahki. I appreciated that she had an Indian name instead of trying to pass herself off as a Joanne or Kimberley. I also appreciated that I got straight through to her instead of having to wait for half an hour. Her accent wasn't too strong so I could understand her better than most.
She put me on hold awhile she contacted the NBN. She came back and said that additional work had to be done in my suburb and the NBN had not bothered to cancel my appointment.
now I have to wait until next month.

Also, hundreds of Muslim refugees in Germany are converting to Christianity.
I think they are converting because they want to. I might be wrong, but I think so.
A short drunkl post tonight. I have the house to myself and I'm relishing the laid back peace of it all. Watched a doco on Tupac Shakur - he shouldnb't be lionised, there was some good, but he was also a thug (really - his word). We should try to find fhe better part in ourselves and not succumb to the darkness, which is easy and, someiimes admittedly, fun, though it never ends well.
My grandson makes me happy. And the rhought of me being a grandparent just boggl;s my mind.
Also, missing my parents. The wound stops bleeding, but never heals.

I would rather Abbott continue to be PM. If he is still PM at the next election Labor would win in a landslide.
However if Abbott goes I hope he takes Hockey with him.

Australian politics is a joke. 5 PMs since 2007. Labor will win the next election.
I don't think much will change though gay marriage now looks like a stronger possibility.

^ For now. I don't hold great hope (he is a Liba nd has to work with the Nats), but at least the door has opened slightly.

I am slightly amused by comments I'm seeing from some Liberals about how they "voted for Abbott, not for Turnbull". Yeah... No. Not how the system works.
