The skeletal remains of a child have been found in Adelaide. There are several children who have gone missing in the last few decades.

Yeah heard that in the afternoon on the way home...

Do you think those cases like the Beaumonts will ever be solved?

Do. Not. Go. There.

Certain media outlets in Adelaide love to keep reheat that story with claims about new evidence and that the case has been solved etc.

It pisses the police off because they don't hear about this "new evidence" until the story is promo'd for today tonight or is reported in the morning murdoch rag.

I know and it is sad for all the families involved but really I wonder if one day in our lifetime these things will be solved.

It could be one of the Beaumont children, but it could also being Joanne Radcliffe or Kirste Gordon i.e the two little girls who disappeared from the football ground in the 1970s. Or Louise Bell. I think there are a couple more missing pre-teens as well.

Or it could be a child who was never reported missing, or a historical find.

All valid points..

I just would love to see all these solved one day.

Well, I am now a grandfather. Who knew? Mother & boy are doing well. 8lb 13oz. I held him last night. Fantastic. Just wish my Dad had stayed on another month or 2. O well. It is what it is. And at least he knew.

Congrats, Australis. I am jealous as I don't think I will ever be a grandmother.

There are certainly a lot of Bronwyn Bishop memes going around at the moment.

And some Mick Fanning memes as well.

^ Indeed. Some of the funniest, is when the two are combined.

Anyways, I'm disappearing to Melbourne for a week in a few days, as my sister is in the country, so gonna catch with her, and it will be the first time in a few years that all four siblings will be together.

Congrats Australis

Saw a pic of a helicopter on its side, the caption: "Go home Bronwyn, you're drunk."

Thanks for the congrats. I might put a pic in the pic thread.

It looks like the wreckage of the Malaysian plane has been found and Abbott must be upset that he can't take credit for it.
