Both days most likely. I shall. No masks, wigs or paint this year. I'm yet to buy my ticket, which I'll most likely do when I'm down there, or at the con.

On the topic of beaches, only swam at St Kilda beach a few years ago. NSW & Queensland beaches are better.

Saint Kilda is a man made beach in the city and can't be compared to the peninsula beaches or beaches in other states.

It IS however right next to awesome beer, ice cream and coffee.

I don't dislike sand all that much but it is amazing just how much sand my sons used to be able to trek into our house when they had been to the beach.

Safely arrived in Melbourne yesterday. It's lot colder than other Octobers that I've been here. Earlier when I went for a walk, there was some rain - but not as much as yesterday when I was walking to the train station.

It improved. The sun came out, it got warm.

Weekend is supposed to be high 20's and sunny, I will be at Armageddon on Sunday!!

I'm yet to buy my ticket - but I'll be there most of the weekend (as I'm leaving after Michael Hogan's panel on Saturday). I'll be walking around taking lots of photos. Gonna look at buy some things for cons next year.

I dropped The Wife at the airport, and she is now in Melbourne, for a big religious thingy (it'll be on local news, I daresay).. Very amused it is on at the same time as Armageddon.

Naked in the Sky is the best place ever to have a beer on a summer day. It is glorious. The food is much cheaper downstairs though so we generally fill up on their one dollar pinxtos and then head upstairs for a long afternoon in the sun. Apparently it's heaving at night but I've never been there then. Staff are super friendly too unlike some trendy places.

I just realized that my favorite Goa'uld system lord is going to be at Armageddon.

IN fact I can hear Mira Furlan, David Hewlett (pants) and see Apophis, Nirrti, Ba'al and Hathor (who had very hot nail polish) in a Systems Lords panel ALL IN A ROW. I haven't been paying any attention to the line up this year and now I am wowed.
