The R rating alone makes me hopeful, Ryan Reynolds can be funny as hell and the part in the abysmally bad Wolverine Origins where he was Wade Wilson as a human could be considered his Deadpool audition.
Now the studio should just have the balls and give us an R rated Wolverine and we'd be all set.

I think my anticipation for this movie is higher than any other upcoming comic film, even Suicide or Apocalypse.
The inexplicably sad thing is I had no idea who Deadpool even was until a few years ago.

Well, I'm pretty sure its just supposed to be the Comic Con trailer, but officially released, so there wouldn't be much different than the leaked trailer (although I'm pretty sure Blind Al wasn't in the leaked trailer, and it was cool to see her).
I thought that the trailer was awesome, and I'm very excited to see the movie.

That was pretty damn cool. After seeing the original test reel I wasn't sure if it was something that could sustain an entire movie, or it the character would just become incredibly annoying after 10 minutes. But from the looks of it I think it could work really well.
I'm sold.

I don't recall ever seeing Deadpool be this R-rated, but 90% of my experience with the character was from guest appearances in other characters' books (and is several years out of date).
