It'd be a collective of two, and when he continues the relationship with her, he actually would be able to read his significant other's mind.

Most Icheb-centric fanfic has him eventually pairing off with Naomi, but there's one series of stories where he meets a Bajoran girl at the Academy and they get married. It's cute how Icheb earnestly does his research into Bajoran marriage customs and works himself into a frazzle, trying to find everything (some of the flowers are only in season for a short time), and get the rituals memorized...

Icheb was a great character, so I wouldn't want to see him turned into a villain. But it might have been an interesting approach to have them reveal that the Borglets were Borg "sleepers". One day they get their switches flipped and start assimilating Voyager.

Icheb as Batman could have been fun, not evil but not boring and I thought he was to be honest. To Janeway; I want you to remember the one man(person) who beat you! Janeway was like Supergal, more so than Seven.
