Hello, time to do DS9 for the best season game.

i will have a poll where you can vote for the best season.

And after the winner for DS9 we will go to the next show.

After we have picked the best season from each show, then we will have a poll for the best season from each show and see what season wins at of all star treks.

It's time to find out what season is the best.

Tough choice. It's between S6 or S7; I went for S7.

To me, it was between 5 and 6, and I chose 6.

Season 5. A perfect mix of excellent stories and Dominion episodes.

Season 1 and 2 are bland.
Season 3 is hit and miss.
Season 4 has too many Klingons
Season 6 and 7 are Dominion War overkill and forget all about the Gamma Quadrant and Bajor.

For the Cause through You are Cordially Invited was the apogee of televised Trek. Seasons 6 & 7 had a few great episodes, among the best, but as a whole lacked the consistency of Season 5.

As for me, the best season was Season 5.
Season 1, 2 were weak and too "TNG-like".
Season 3 was the beginning of true DS9. It found its own story, villains and so on.
I enjoyed Season 4, but Season 5 brought an intriguing twist into Odo storyline. Odo as an permanent Solid was a great opportunity for cool stories like The Ascent. Unfortunately, almost all opportunities were lost. Anyway, Season 5 has a lot of cool episodes like The Begotten, A Simple Investigation, Children of Time.
Season 6 is simply great. "In the Pale Moonlight" was a masterpiece, but this Season was too close to Series finale
And, yes, I don't like Season 7 entirely because it featured Ezri and it is the last season of great series.

Season 6 for me, though 4 and 5 are on similar level. The Occupation Arc and In The Pale Moonlight put 6 over the top.

Final ten eps in season 7 are great too but first half of the season is weak.

Deep Space Nine was my favourite season.

 

[Seven of Five]

Season 5 for me. Season six and seven both have the amazing arcs, yet struggle to find consistency outside of them. Season five just kept hitting them out of the park, whist throwing a lot of life-altering events into the mix along the way.

Let's see: The Ship, Nor the Battle to the Strong, Trials and Tribble-Ations, Rapture, The Darkness and the Light, In Purgatory's Shadow, By Inferno's Light, Business as Usual, Ties of Blood and Water, Children of Time, In the Cards and Call to Arms are all very good or excellent episodes for me, with another load that are all good, or have good bits in them. Of course having both Let He Who Is Whitout Sin and Ferengi Love Songs in the same season is jarring, but there you go.
