Borg Drones surround Away Team on All Sides. Shelby, Data, Crusher and Worf open fire, taking down a few drones each.

Shelby: Shelby to Enterprise! Encountering resistance. Prepare to beam us back on my signal!

The Next wave has adapted.

They're adapting to the frequencies!

 

[Vanyel]

Dr. Crushes sees Picard.

Dr. Crusher: Jean-luc?

He turns and shows that he has been assimilated.

 

[LeadHead]

Worf: Captain!

Worf walks to Picard, trying to rescue him. Crusher follows, but Data holds her back.
Worf runs into Forcefield and falls to ground.

 

[Vanyel]

They are beamed off the ship.

Data: We were unable to retrieve him. The Captain has been altered by the Borg.

Riker: Altered?

 

[Vanyel]

Worf: He IS a Borg.

 

[LeadHead]

Shelby: We'll go back. I need more people. We need to re-tune the Phasers again. We'll get him out of there!

 

[Vanyel]

LaForge: Commander, reading subspace field fluctuations from within the Borg ship. Looks like they're regenerating, restoring power. They can be capable of warp any minute.

 

[LeadHead]

Riker: Is the Deflector ready?

 

[Vanyel]

LaForge: It's ready.

 

[LeadHead]

Crusher: Will, he's alive. If we could get him back to the Ship, I might be able to restore-

 

[Vanyel]

Riker: This is our only chance to destroy them. If they get back into warp, our weapon is useless.

 

[LeadHead]

Shelby: We'll sabotage them again if we have to.

 

[Vanyel]

Riker: We can't maintain power and we don't have the time. (To Worf) Prepare to fire.

Shelby: At least consult with Starfleet Command, get Admiral Hanson on Subspace.
