Jonathan Archer
T'Pol
Charles "Trip" Tucker
Travis Mayweather
Hoshi Sato
Dr. Phlox
Malcolm Reed
Shran

<<<<<< This guy. I think Trip was the best developed and most consistent character on the show. He started out (unfortunately) as something of a hick and the "comic relief" but as the show progressed the writers began taking Trip seriously as a character, giving him strong story lines and emotional impact. He still had his moments, but he wasn't just a frahd catfish and peeKahn pie-eating hillbilly (from Florida).

Come on T.H.U.G.S, rock the vote!

BTW, I'm a guy, and I voted "Trip" anyway...

I was tempted to vote Tucker, but I actually voted Shran. To be a non-regular (irregular? ha) he was extremely well-characterized and well-developed. Plus he was an Andorian so that was awesome in and of himself.

It may have something to do with the quality of Mr. Combs's acting abilities.

I am a guy too. although it was close between Trip and T-Pol.

Better character won out.

so, it is Trip, T-Pol, Hoshi, Shran, Malcolm, Doctor, Travis.

I voted for Trip he had the most character developement that seasons 3 AND 4 made him into a more complex character closely followed by T'Pol and Malcolm Phlox & Soval

Trip, without a doubt, for the same reasons already stated in this thread.

(And yes, I'm a man)

Trip. He's the only one I really cared about. He was far more believable as a person, and more likable.

After Trip---maybe Phlox. I never really liked T'Pol, except in her relationship with Trip.

Archer -- I think he's the most flawed and the television shows him make a lot of progress toward his flaws or use them to his advantage. He's my second favorite Star Trek character; my first fav being Mr. Spock.

You know, I like Archer too. And it irritates me to see the disdain and hatred this character receives. I think Borderland is where we see an Archer who has truly become his own, an optimistic explorer tempered by the Xindi crisis. I can't help but really like this guy.

I think they should have never moved Trip toward having a relationship with T'Pol. Trip was good but he's not the character I wanted to see sweating it up with T'Pol. We all loved her but office/ship romance can screw people up. So I go Phlox - he was the human spirit of the show then T'Pol in her true vulcan role not the inner conflict of falling in love Vulcan.

I voted Shran, but almost voted for Phlox. Of the regulars, Phlox was my fave because he was quirky and had a better insight into humans than T'Pol did. Plus, you have to love a doctor who puts slugs and eels on his patients to fix them up -- part homeopathic physician and part witch doctor!

As for Shran, he was a better realized character than some of the regulars. Like Scorpius in Farscape, it would've been great if he had been an actual regular. I also like how refreshingly racist he was, with all that "pink-skin" talk.
