The "All Good Things" Checklist (Season 2 Edition)

Uhhhh add him on Facebook and start scrolling:lol: He posts a lot, so there's a lot to go back though.

Haha, good point. :P I think I recall him being in that group of ours for a while back in the day. Or adjacent to it... or something. I know I used to talk to him a tad regardless!

Yeah, found it. That's pretty great. He seems fairly high on Picard's second and third seasons overall. Told several fans who disliked the first season to give this premiere a shot after agreeing that he didn't care for the first season, either.

As he himself has said, he's a tough customer on Trek. I remember disagreeing with his harshness toward some of the newer stuff back in the day. Couldn't have imagined a time he'd be excited again, and probably not just because he was involved!

Yeah, and he hasn't changed his tune on the older new stuff because of being hired. He's still saying he wasn't fond of Season 1 (he didn't even finish it), and hasn't watched Discovery IIRC.

Not really, Season 2 appears to have a new creative team and a whole new story.

And he still dislikes Discovery and PIC Season 1, he hasn't changed his mind on all new Trek.

No idea if he's seen Lower Decks or Prodigy.
Well, I still find it odd.

Now that we know a little bit more...
1. Picard at the Vineyard. --> Unless he returned to the Vineyard after S1, he's still on La Sirena.
Back at the Vineyard, under better circumstances.

5. Picard and Crusher were married and divorced. --> The jury is still out on that one.
What happened here -- or didn't happen -- needs to be addressed before the series ends, if not in this season. Season 2 looks like it's giving us a good overview of Picard's life. The Crushers were part of that. Including Jack, Beverly, and Wesley, across the Stargazer, both of his Enterprises, and possibly outside of those.

The rest of the stuff I listed, we probably won't see.

Did anything happen with Jean-Luc and Beverly before Jack died?

I don't know, but the post was to illustrate the importance of the Crusher family in his life in general. I didn't mean to imply you-know-what going on at that time. I don't see Picard as the type of person who'd have an affair with his best friend's wife. That would be pretty low.

If we were talking about different characters, I could see it as a story possibility. But not with them.

Part of me always believed that's *why* Jack died. Work accident, you know. Now that he's out of the way, Beverly, ... After all, who do you think Wesley's dad really is?

(just kidding... mostly).

Season 2 will involve a Picard romance according to Patrick

Sir Patrick has expanded on that and let us know at least one of the objects of Jean-Luc’s affection in an article at TVLine released today. Here it is for anyone who can’t help but read all the advance details (like myself):

Sir Patrick Stewart via TVLine said:
I don’t get to do much romance in my career, and so it’s very, very nice at the age of 81 that I get to play scenes like that with wonderful actors like Orla Brady, who plays Laris.
