Spoilers The Acolyte

Visions season 1: I watched 7 out of the 9 chapters, didn't care for two of the 7 that much, the other 5 I would consider "keepers".
Visions season 2: I watched maybe 2 (?) of them, liked 1 of the 2. Frankly losing the Japanese angle caused me to mostly lose interest.

Or Padawan that were killed during the war or during Order 66. There is a slim chance they were kept safe using The Path, but given how he only had Grogu with him... The Younglings didn't make it.

I remember really liking The Ronin in season 1, but I don't remember any of the rest of it at all.
Presumably you mean "The Duel".

That one is special because despite being animation it's made to look like an actual Toho chanbara film from the late 50s or early 60s ( aka the soil from which Star Wars originally grew ).

I have to confess I've almost considered checking out the Young Jedi Adventures, mainly because I'm a big fan of the High Republic branch of the franchise, and that's probably the only place we'll ever see the characters from the books and the comics onscreen.

Pretty much everything with the Star Wars name attached I've enjoyed on some level, so for me it's mostly just a matter of how much I liked it. There really isn't anything I completely hated.

There are several indispensably solid episodes of Resistance, and at least one of its episodes is better than the worst of all other animated series. It's included in all my rankings.
Yeah, Resistance was OK. Not great, but by no means a bad show. It was however hamstrung in a lot of ways, but mostly just being directly tied to the movies was more hindrance than help.

For one thing, the undercover "mystery" aspect regarding the First Order just fell flat because of course they're up to no good. Even if by chance someone hadn't already seen the sequel movies; they're obviously Stormtroopers, and the show spent no energy trying to humanise them. Zero tension there.
The one and only cool aspect of it was getting to tie directly into the events of the movies for the first time (later followed by TCW's final season & TotJ, but Resistance got there first!), but that became a two edged sword since once TRoS came out, that was it. Story over, and they just barely had enough time to start hitting their stride.

I think for me the biggest disappointment was that it just fundamentally wasn't the show I imagined in my mind's eye when they released that first piece of key art and started throwing around phrases like "Miyazaki inspired". I know it's really not fair to judge any piece of art for failing to be something it wasn't even trying to be, but I can't help but lament the missed opportunities and squandered potential.

I imagined something with much lower stakes (at least in the beginning), set in a time of peace, on some idyllic backwater where the only exciting thing to happen was the golden age of aviation inspired barnstorming races. They had most of the pieces to it too; young cast, some colourful characters in the form of the competing racers, the pilot watering hole. The Colossus could have done with being parked on or next to an island or something though. Something to add some greenery to the fairly sterile ocean scenery.

If it were me, I'd have taken a page from Rebels' book and set the story about two or three years before TFA. Don't even mention the First Order until maybe the first season finale, if not the second season. Drop Kaz's whole backstory of already being a NR pilot and being recruited as a spy, and make him a few years younger. He, Torra, and Tam should all have just been young kids that grew up together, looking forward to finally leaving the planet and going to the Hosnian Prime Academy or something.
Make most of the first season be primarily about the racing, with maybe the upcoming grand tournament the thing they're all driving towards (maybe because the winning team gets enough credits to pay their way though school?) Take that time to build up the extended cast and flesh out all of the competing teams before everything hits the fan, so when they eventually do have to join the Resistance and form Ace Squadron, it actually means something. I don't know why the show ended up doing that so late, but it really undercut the whole thing.

P.S. I don't do ranking lists. I find them tedious, reductive, and utterly pointless.
