Yeah, I've noticed that Trek seems to be to go-to movie in gadget advertisements lately.
Okay, that was totally awesome.
No surprise there, either. But again, a completely deserving Oscar. Up was my favorite film of the year.
No surprises with Up's win, but hey, it was a very good film (even if it wasn't quite among Pixar's best, IMO).
I've never heard of The Secret of Kells. Maybe I should check it out -- anyone here seen it?
I haven't, but I've heard good things about.
I should have seen The Princess & The Frog when it was in theaters. It looks good.
I still need to see Up.
No idea who will win Original Song.
I still don't get how "Down in New Orleans" ended up one of The Princess and the Frog's two nominated songs; "Friends on the Other Side" and "Dig A Little Deeper" were both much better.
Totally deserved win for "The Weary Kind".
Yet another given. Hmm, I notice every winner so far has been the last nominee listed.
Yeah... I believe it's still playing at a discount theatre near me. I think I'll go check it out.
How could have gone to any other song? The others were awful.
What the hell's up with starting at 8:30? I missed a half-hour cause I figured it was on at 9 when I didn't see it at 8.
Up is wonderful.
I can't wait to see it.
It just looks really good.
I'm glad! I thought I missed a full hour!
Man, Shatner must have hit the gym bigtime to get ready for his appearance there.
Hmm, I thought it had started at 8:30 in previous years too.
I wonder if the best song award being so early means no performances this year. That would be a shame. I always enjoyed those.
Man, the Oscars are looking great on HD! This is the first year I get to see it this way.
Yes, they decided not to include those this time.
It started here at 12.30pm, with a 30 minute red carpet special.
