The 201 most unforgettable film death scenes of all time

I see what you mean about looser definition of death scenes considering you are including time loop deaths. :)

My most memorable death scenes would probably come from super depressing art films. Pather Panchali, Au Hasard Balthasar, Mouchette, etc. A few from Pulp Fiction probably. Of course Spock and Obiwan.

165 Tommy Udo's mom in KISS OF DEATH
...

I believe that was Pete Rizzo's mom. Tommy Udo sadistically pushed her down the stairs when he went to Rizzo's place but Rizzo himself was out. From what I remember, Rizzo never actually appears in the movie.

The 201 Most Unforgettable film death scenes of all time
You know, what might help your thread and possibly make it more note resting, would be if gave a brief reason for why you thought a particular death was so unforgettable. Several of these movies I’v never or heard of, so giving a brief reason tyou’ve listed a death scene might alleviate the need to have seen the movie. :)

Maybe you can consider this at least when you get to the top 10.

How about Paycheck (2003), when Wolfe sees the future footage of himself getting caught in the explosion of the booby-trapped machine moments before it actually happens, and in trying to get away he does exactly what he just saw himself doing.

144 Neidermeyer, NATIONAL LAMPOON'S ANIMAL HOUSE

How was Neidermeyer's death unforgettable? His death was only mentioned as part of the what happened to... as part of the end. It only said he was shot by his own troops in Viet Nam.

This is basically a list of characters who died, whether it was shown on screen or not...

You could have had Bennett (impaled by a pipe "Let off some steam, Bennett"), Sully (dropped off a cliff "I lied"), Cooke (impaled by a table leg), Henriques (broken neck "Don't disturb my friend, he's dead tired", or some unnamed soldier (saw blade in chest) in Commando.

... I did see PAYCHECK. Once. ...

Check it out, right at 1:33.
I think this movie is really dumb, but it makes for an entertaining evening of mindless fun.
