The 100 - Season 2

Make up your mind!

Has Lexa qualified as eyecandy through pity?

Did you get a good look at Fox?

She's one of the skypeople trapped in Mount Weather.

No, no, I'm not crushing...

IMDB says that she used to be Joe Adama's daughter on Caprica.

Is IMDB fucking up?

Because Caprica was 6 years ago and Fox looks like a nine year old.

(Caprica was 6 years ago?

Fuck.)

One thing I really like about Lexa is her name. Okay it sounds a bit like a car but so does Mercedes which is also a great name. I guess I also like that she's not particularly cute, she has a long face and looks serious. It's just when she opens her mouth she sounds like she's reading lines in a safety infomercial.

I looked up Fox:

She is that dweeby high school girl you get in every show that stands in the background?

But she used to be the kung fu god of Capp City.

My point might possibly be that she has Benjamin Button Syndrome?

Wow, your Caprica thread, didn't even make it to page 2.

So sad.

I like her.

How you like people (women.) is much more pleasant than how I like people (women) but this wasn't about me liking Fox (or Genny hormonally), citing the actresses presence, alerting her hidden real life identity, was about that Genevieve used to be on a different show (Caprica) where she played a very different (and much larger) character, and that that doing so is fantastically difficult considering what a fucking doormouse Fox is.

I am startled that it is the same person.

I just had a horrible thought.

The City of lights has an airforce.

Jaha is going to come back and save the day flying a fighter plane just as Mount Weather is about to destroy the Grounder army.

The speed of plot.

I finally saw the last episode. I honestly never really thought of the whole Clexa thing, but after the kiss I'm all for it.
I'm curious how long the trip to The City of Lights is going to take Jaha and Murphy. In some of the interviews I read, they almost made it sound like it would take multiple seasons, but unless something else happens it looks like it'll be a much shorter trip.

NO. JUST STOP NOW.

Which makes no sense. So no one bothered to get there and back before the brave skypeople did?

Maybe too many horses blew up.

The Groudners that we have seen are cattle for Mount weather.

The Mountainmen must have resources in place to stop the Grounders leaving, unless there is great profit in staying close to the Mountain despite the downside of losing 12 people a month to their blooddriive.

Maybe 10 days ride (in almost any direction) from Mount Weather are where the real assholes live?

Wow, great episode tonight. I did not expect the betrayal at all. I am curious to see next week's season finale.

You know how when a beautiful woman has an ugly baby because she'd had 40 grand of plastic surgery before she met her rich and famous, probably professional basket ball playing husband?

I don't think that Bone Marrow will translate to the next generation of Mountain Men.

They'll head out into the world but the instant they try to have children, those children will melt.

Wow, you actually brought up a good point here. I'm not sure how that would work.
This was a great episode with a hell of a twist.
I really hope this won't be the end of "Octavia of the Tree People", I've really liked her arc this season, and I'd hate to see it end this way.
I was disappointed to see them kill Mia's father, I like Ian Tracey.
I wonder if we'll get more of stuff with Jaha and Murphy, or it them going off in the boat will be the end of their season.?

See that's their problem. They need to breed with the arc people. They mentioned that those in the ark were genetically engineered so they have superior DNA.

Instead they just wanna suck out their bone marrow like a slurpee and they have no long term tests. Leukemia can return after being treated so this treatment may not last forever either.

I also don't get the grounders decision here. This was their greatest chance ever to defeat a technologically superior enemy. They won the battle to lose the war. Mount weather can rebuild the acid fog potentially and still has their missiles.

I think the Grounders figured that they'd just go back to being enemies with the Ark people once the Mountain was done, and this way they get their people back while the Ark people and Mountain Men will go to war without them, with one side either being destroyed or both being crippled.

Then the Grounders will take out whoever is left right after since they'll still be weak from battle.

They were going to lose 2000 soldiers to rescue 20 halfbledout idiots too stupid not to be caught.

Of course a week from now the mountain men are just going to go out and capture another 20 grounders, and another 20 grounders the month after that...

Although?

The Mountain Men don''t have to go capture any more more grounders at all if the skypeople are harvested as cures.

40 sky people = A thousand years of harmony.

The grounders in the cages are worth shit to the Mountain men if the Mountainmen are cured.

Why fight to the last to protect worthless shit?

So fricking obvious.

I was thinking the commander's main aim would be a way to kill everyone in that mountain that would burn in the air, enough of this "the innocent" stuff Clarke wanted. She could have done it too, which would have been a lot more forward thinking than the deal she made.

That does make a certain amount of sense. Didn't Lexa even ask what was going to happen to them after the war with Mt. Weather was over? Or was that somebody else?
