It's been great to hear from you here throughout all of this, TZ. Still sending you good vibes and good thoughts, and hope things go well for you.

As are we all. TZ, I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like for you, but we have all watched you come through this with strength and courage and that is just so totally cool.

TrekBBS and the Internet are great places to go for support and comfort in times of need; and that's because people are basically good. There may be a few loudmouthed idiots hogging the attention, but most people plug along quietly and help out when they can. When the chips are down, even most of the loudmouthed idiots will do a good turn for someone.

Oh God, I hope I've defeated the evil cancer! I'm more nervous about the scan results than I've been admitting (to myself, no less anyone else).

So here's the good news: the scans were clear. What a relief! The neurosurgeon is very pleased with my progress. Next scans and app't are in July, then every six months for a while, then every year, pretty much forever. Unless something big comes up, I probably won't do any more updates.
