Tennant as Lupin III

Would Tennant work out in an American or British adaptation of the anime thief, who appeared in Hayao Miyazaki's first film, and counts Steven Spielberg and Kanye West among his fans?

Why not do a classic period Arsene Lupin film, based on the original novels and stories? Done in the style of Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes, it could be pretty sensational.

I grew watching the anime, so I would love to see a Lupin III movie. Tennant would be actually a good choice: he has the comedic timing, the goofiness, the thin-as-a-rail physique and the big-ass grin. Now, who would you see as Fujiko?
