^ I try!
srsly, Toronto is one of my favorite cities I have
ever been to. I vacation there at least a week every year. I absolutely LOVE it in Toronto. You should absolutely be proud of being from there.
And Toronto appeared in an episode of TNG ("Contagion"), so that alone is a feather in its cap.
I admit that when I go up in the CN Tower, I get weak in the knees when I try to walk out onto the glass floored observation platform (seriously, I do. I start shaking like a leaf

). And when some nutbar starts JUMPING UP AND DOWN on the damn thing, I have been known to run for cover and commence whimpering. But I'm trying to get over that.
Oh and while I'm not a Blue Jays fan, I do love Rogers Centre (I always stay in the hotel inside the stadium - it's a nice hotel and very convenient) and I love the song that Jays fans do during the 8th inning...
I'm from about a half hour north of the city....where I am still is country for the moment, but there are subdivisions 10 minutes in every direction of me...I like it....except for the coyotes killing our chickens..wouldn't live downtown for the world...too noisey and dirty and smelly. Though, I do wish they'd hurry up and fix the subway at Yorkdale so I can go to the opera hassle free again.
OOGA chaka OOGA OOGA OOGA chaka...
