It is the same Shelby, only, I've taken her in a different direction than Peter David did. I wrote this before even knowing of New Frontiers, so none of that is in my personal canon.

Alright, all caught up again. One hell of a shakedown cruise for Liz Shelby and her crew and a terrific scene setter for what else is in store for Starfleet's rowdiest crew.
