The 15th and final season of my beloved Supernatural starts Thursday, October 10. Less than a month! I can't wait.

If you're jonesing for more, like I am, here is this fan-made video to get you in the mood:

Less than a month to go.

There's still time for them to change their minds....

I suppose the actors could change their minds. Not bloody likely, but it's possible. CW would probably be happy to go as long as it makes them money. 15 damn years-- that is a very long run for TV show.

I remember when Supernatural first started I didn't think it would last beyond the first season. Some of those early episodes were pretty bad.

Episode 2, "Wendigo," and 8 "Bugs," are pretty darn bad.

"Bugs" is so hated by the actors and crew that it's referenced more than once by Chuck as an example of bad writing.

I was only kidding about them changing their minds, but there could be reunion movies-- depending on how it ends.

On the one hand I am sad to see it go, but on the other I am glad that we've had a pretty good run with only a few clunky seasons along the way. I hope that the cast gets some opportunities to go on to some great roles in the years to come.

The premise of this season has a lot of opportunity to bring back old characters. I wonder if we’ll see Meg and Ruby.

Or Crowley.

I wonder if the lights will finally go out in Heaven, releasing all the "good" people to counteract all the "evil" souls from Hell.

^ I was thinking about that the other day. It would be great to see all the old hunters again: Jo & Ellen, Bobby & Rufus, etc.

Very! Can't wait. I'm hoping we'll will out, eventually, that the dude in the red blazer is not actually Chuck.

OK..took awhile to get going but I really enjoyed that. It sets up what could be a great final season.
