CW has pretty much gone on record as saying they'll keep making Supernatural as long as Jared and Jensen want to do so. I'd have to think the two of them are pulling a fairly hefty yearly salary from the show, not to mention the additional coin they're pulling on the convention circuit. Probably made them fairly rich, me thinks....

BBT announced their upcoming season will be their last. It will be a full 22 episode season. The decision to end the series came from the production end and not the network.

As for Supernatural, the network seems to be happy accommodating their stars. I'd give them at least 2 more seasons (hopefully more).

Back to TBBT, I have to say I enjoyed the first 7 seasons or so,, but they should have been cancelled around S10. My opinion.

At this point, every additional year is another 3 or 4 million dollars in each of their pockets, and their net worth is barely twice that number. The guys are in their late 30s and early 40s now with children and no prospects for a movie star career. This is the time to build up their bank accounts for retirement, imo. In their shoes, I would be squeezing every last drop out of this franchise.
