I don't think so, the whole thing feels like a play on the "God is the light" idea by having a literal darkess and light duality.
We know there's a season 12, Amara will probably end up locked away for another stretch of eons. God might go off around the universe picking up the pieces of Gabriel and Raphael for a few years. Or takes off to fix Heaven and rehab Michael.
I don't think we'll be seeing any of them regularly again.

He said that it would take a long time to reconstitute them, the implication there is that he felt them die and knows where their souls were scattered to, and that he couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it at that point.
I think that means they're dead, and Metatron was able to at least touch a portion of their remains with the Angel tablet giving him some of Gods powers to create the dream Gabriel for Castiel.
But, he did say he could put them back together if he felt like it.

...unexpected.
Tonight's episode really just fell flat for me. I'm sorry, but we were in a great place last week, and we were all on the edge of our seats (I certainly was), but tonight's follow-up just didn't have it.
Three biggest issues? The English lady (seriously, they wasted a ton of screen time on her that really should've gone to a Cas-Chuck scene, which was sorely missed). Billie, because her role was a blink-and-you-miss-it insertion that felt really forced and awkward to me.
And, I hate to say it, but problem number three was Cas.
He had absolutely no role in this episode whatsoever, and it felt like he was shoehorned in because they couldn't do a finale without him. It was a letdown when towards the end of the episode, Something Big happened, and literally his only contribution in the entire scene was, "Indeed."
Sorry folks, but he was wasted this time around.
As for the rest...some good scenes, especially at the sanitarium ("You finish up, I'll go piss them off"). But there was not one word spoken directly between Cas and Chuck/God. Sam should've offered to let God touch his soul at least once (I'm not joking, he was willing to let "Cas" do it to get Dean back, why not here to save God Himself?).
And as for the ending...everything just feels too neat and tidy. I can tell what they're setting us up for come season 12, and I don't like it.
About the only thing they absolutely nailed was the bit at the very end of the episode.

I think it was bad timing to bring in this Men of Letters group now. It's hard to take seriously a lecture of being out of one's depth right after you successfully reunite God and his sister and save the universe. That back-and-forth would have had a lot more punch if it was given just after Sam and Dean released the Darkness.
I gotta say...that was a big let down. I thought the build up to Dean's big sacrifice was great and then we....NOTHING.

It certainly didn't end in Armageddon with the entire universe at stake. I guess the word to describe this finale is sappy. 
It certainly wasn't great, though Chuck and Amara ended up resolving their conflict, which felt more like an episode of Touched by an Angel. While I could see they were setting up the premise for next season, the inclusion of the British MoL lady felt awkward. Here comes the tribunal!

So...what happened to all the Souls Amara took into herself? are they all just given back out again?
Was she the one who raided Crowleys stash, where Azazel may have sent their mother years ago and was able to suddenly bring her back?
Where did Lucifer go?
So, Amara was just jealous her brother wanted to play with his toys rather than hang out with her. That's...okay I get that all she wanted was a 'sorry', and they may be gone eons while he spends the time he should have with her a long time ago. And that seeing him dying scared her and made her more open to another solution, but that was too fast an apology.
Basically all of them were just "there" for the episode doing nothing. The stereotpyical English stuff was offensively bad for 2016, and completely unneeded. Had she been standing there with the gun waiting at the end and not fired, it might have worked better as a cliffhanger.
Nothing about Heaven, Hell or the Angels gets fixed. And Hell will kick Crowley out very soon. About the only new thing is the Men of Letters trying to kill them now while they protect their mother from it all.

Yeah, that was a disappointing finale. It's a shame because the first two episodes of the God arc were some of the best stuff they've ever done. Did we see Amara suffering this doubt and hesitation in any episode before this? It felt really out of nowhere. Everything was just solved way too easily. And yeah, Castiel doesn't get to finally talk to God?! Remember that episode where he spends an entire episode in soliloquy to God asking him for guidance?
And this was a super odd way to introduce the British lady. So she knows the world is about to be destroyed... AND SHE DOESN'T OFFER ANY HELP?! She just waits in the shadows for them to save the universe so she can arrest one of the savoirs?! She wasn't interested in meeting God?!

Well, that was interesting. Not quite what I was expecting, and not quite on the level of the first two episodes in the story, but still pretty good. What I really love about it was that the battle failed, but the reconciliation succeeded.
My biggest disappointment was that there was no real meeting between God and Castiel. Castiel has been such a loyal guy and God thought enough of him to reassemble him a bunch of times, so an introduction would have been nice. My second biggest disappointment was that God didn't seem too worried about what happened to Lucifer. These things made me wonder how much had to be cut for time. Hopefully there will be many deleted scenes on the DVDs-- and hopefully integrated into the episodes.
There were plenty of nice character moments in the episode, from Dean giving Cass the recognition he deserves to Rowena calling God "Charles" and making him tea to the boys visiting their mother's grave. Nice cameo by Billie the Reaper, too.
So now Chuck and Amara are off somewhere, re-bonding. This is great, because it leaves the possibility of either or both returning at some point. We've learned that the Men of Letters is still around, at least abroad-- no pun intended. And Dean has met his mother. Does this mean he's back in time? Or in some isolated part of Heaven? Or has she been returned to life? Will we find out where she and their father have been all this time? And Sam has been shot. Eh, he'll be okay.
