Supernatural, season 11 *SPOILERS!*

This entire episode was a long-winded way for them to say, "Death won't do deals with us anymore."

OK, got it. Can we get back to the storyline, please?

The thing with Billie had better be foreshadowing for something. Otherwise this was a total waste of an episode.

Some folks say they like the filler episodes like this one...I just don't see how, in the opening moments they even said they had better things to do, like hunting the Darkness. Hopefully the rest of the season we'll be done with these silly filler episodes.

I'm starting to agree with the folks that are saying Supernatural should do what The 100 is doing--do a shorter season that does nothing but focus on the main storyline, with no filler episodes and no room for nonsense.

Odd, everywhere else online the episode is being adored and applauded for being one of the best and 'the most emotional one ever'. This board is my first run in with criticism for it.

I'm telling you. Most of the people on this forum live in their own, weird, Bizarro universe. This isn't limited to Supernatural at all.

Well seeing as how everyone's coming back next season and Jensen and Jared are going to be with the show until the final episode... absolutely they're going somewhere with Billie. :D

I thought it was a great stand-alone episode. Although we know the boys won't really die, there was real emotion and horror in what happened to Sam. And Dean's strong emotional reaction was very convincing. Emotionally the strongest stuff they've done for quite a while, in fact.

This ep also had some of the strongest supporting characters: the couple, the doctor and the douchy sheriff (though I guess punching a cop in the head is a legitimate crime, really).

It did seem unrealistic how mobile Sam got towards the end (though I'm not a doctor; maybe it's possible). The weakest part was consequence-free ending, with them checking out of hospital apparently never troubled by police about the various horrible deaths on the premises.

But overall I liked it, and am intrigued about how things will pan out with Death. Possibly this will lead to a break-out of heaven/hell, but more likely they will convince a superpowered friend to fix Billie for them.

THAT I agree with. I'm not really liking Billie, as either a character or as a villain. I get that reapers aren't meant to be good guys, but she seems to be acting more out of spite than anything else, and that just doesn't make sense to me for some reason.

I dunno, she seems to be limited to what she can personally do. But imagine if most any angel knew you killed God. Do you really think they wouldn't be spiteful towards you at the very least?

After a WHAM episode if ever there was one...

...we're on hiatus AGAIN for three more weeks, and when we come back what do we get? *Another* filler episode.

Their broadcast schedule is driving me bananas.

One hell of an episode (er...no pun intended). After a few "quiet" episodes, SHIT GOES DOWN!!!

Yes, indeed, a ton of stuff happened, and all of it, well, not good. Loved seeing Mark Pellegrino again, loved the look at who/what's left of heaven, loved seeing Cas in his "happy place" and "OhGodDamnitWhyCan'tSomebodyKillRowena!"

Now we go on yet ANOTHER bloody hiatus. Rats!! :scream: I'm going to go into withdrawal.

I liked it and I was actually kind of on the edge of our couch, which I'm usually not - when the credits rolled, the wife gave me a side-glance and and the ole "I'm too old for this shit" line

Not only that, but an episode with Lucifer, Crowley, The Darkness, Castiel and an attack on heaven is immediately followed by... a case of the week.

The Rowena revival was also really stupid. So there's an anti-getting killed spell that no one's used before and no one will ever use again.

I really liked the episode. Finally, they're doing something to advance the plot. This was the first time they showed a confrontation between Amara and Lucifer. I found myself conflicted on whom to root for. ;) Lucifer is a jerk, but he claims he's the only one capable of stopping the Darkness. Amara is so affable, but she wants to destroy all of creation.

It's interesting that Amara referred to Lucifer as God's first creation and favorite. I wonder if Lucifer's rebellion and/or giving Cain the mark had anything to do with God going into seclusion.
