Seems rather dickish to only take Jordan to the fortress. Jonathon deserves to know his history as well. Also, could it be possible that Jordan needs to be close to his brother for his powers to work?
I still would have taken him. He seemed a little jealous that he didn’t go.He didn't take Jonathan because he--and Lois--assumed he did not inherit the powers. Regarding learning about his family history, Jonathan never appeared to be too interested in that side of his life. He's fairly well adjusted and not seeking answers beyond what his parents share with him.
Have you met Lois Lane?the writers should have had her tread lightly
It’s not surprising it got renewed if Batwoman was also. Apparently it did well on the DVR frontSuperman & Lois has been renewed. Apparently the woeful ratings discussed earlier for the pilot were the CW's largest audience in that time slot in two years. And also the network's third-largest series premiere since Batwoman and Walker.
I think both Routh and Cavill are excellent Supermen who didn't get movies worthy of their ability. But then, all the Reeve movies have problems too, even the first one. It seems far easier to get the casting of Superman right than it is to get a Superman movie story right.
I don't watch Teen dramas.
One gripe about the pilot, why is the internet router in the barn and not the house? Why so far out of reach? Seems like poor writing to me.
Truer words have rarely been spoken. Reeves was as much an utter, effortless natural in the role as Hoechlin is.George Reeves was perfect in the part.
Anyway, everyone on this show is really damned good.
Am I the only one who is tired of the "A seemingly intelligent girl who has a borderline psychopath as her boyfriend, while justifying herself 'you don't know him, he can be very sweet'"'s trope?
Well played sirThink of how tired all the smart girls in these relationships are of it all. A lot of them have a couple of kids by the time they decide to dump him. Then he goes on reddit and joins -
Oh, we're still talking about TV? Never mind.
At least we know why Luthor didn’t show his face last week. They obviously didn’t have him cast for the pilot as that was clearly not the same actor.
Well, yes. She admitted he went overboard with his reaction when Jonathan tried to kiss her. She said he was wrong to pick on the brother who hadn't done anything. She said she was sorry for the the playbook thing. So she isn't delusional and she knows that her boyfriend misbehaved (usually these kind of people find the wildest justifications for their partners' behavior), still her best explanation is "He can be so sweet".We have only seen 2 episodes and you already have a problem that the romantic relationship of a supporting character has not been explained yet?
