Maybe that's because she plays Ma Kent in scenes that presumably take place about 20 years before Clark first meets Lois Lane?

Could be. I was under impression that Ma and Pa were in the scenes in the present as well.

Probably, but you couldn't really cast a 60 year-old actress and then pretend she's in her 30s in the flashbacks. Works better the other way around.

Also, "You think your son is safe?", seriously? they use a line from the movie so similar to Star Trek's "You think your world is safe?"? Has the person who cut the trailer been living under a rock for the past few months?

Barring all that, I think it's going to be a great movie.

The Zod teaser aired in an ad break during the latest episode of Game of Thrones on Sky Atlantic. It's the first TV ad I've seen for the movie.

I teared up a little at that. I don't think I've cried at a trailer since, well since the Superman Returns teaser, actually. If they manager to make the movie anywhere near as good as that trailer, were in for a treat.
