I can see the fact that Winn knows Kara's secret causing problems when Toyman ultimately shows up.
CBS has opted not to air the episodes of Supergirl and NCIS: Los Angeles originally scheduled for tomorrow, Nov. 17. Other original episodes will air instead. The move was made out of sensitivity to the events in Paris as the world is still reeling from the gruesome terrorist attacks that took the lives of 129 people and left more than 300 injured.
The benched Supergirl episode, “How Does She Do It?,” had Kara dealing with bombings in the fictional National City. In place of that episode will be “Livewire,” a Thanksgiving-themed installment originally slated for November 23.
You assume this week's episode will air next week.I think I'll just wait a week and then watch both episodes in row in the correct order.

Hope that doesn't torpedo a larger narrative/arc that will not make much sense with episodes being shown out of order. Though this early in the run there is thankfully not much continuity to be disrupted.
In Canada, Supergirl premiered as a simulcast with the American broadcast,[73] while it premiered three days later on October 29 in the United Kingdom.[74] The series will premiere in Australia on FOX8 on December 6, 2015.[75]
In spite of Variety using the term 'switched', it's rather unlikely that all CBS is doing is postponing How Does She Do It? by a week. What seems far more likely is that the episode will air much later, if it airs at all.
