When Henshaw was telling Alex about the Martian Massacre, I was thinking, wow, these actors are way better than the material.

Oh, still feminism talk?

Sorry for interrupting, what about a second season? Will there be one? Has one been confirmed or is it too early?

^^
It would be a shame if it didn't get another one.
I don't think they usually announce those things this early though.

From everything I've been reading, the ratings are more than good enough (and holding steady enough) that a second season is almost a guarantee at this point.

I never found Welling at all convincing as a future Superman. Sometimes he kind of looked the part or sort of came close to acting the part, but I never really bought him. Even Dean Cain made a more credible Superman.

The only live-action actors that I've really found convincing as Superman were Christopher Reeve and Henry Cavill -- and Cavill works in spite of the material he's been given. Honorable mention to Brandon Routh -- I didn't find him convincing as Superman when he actually played the role, but watching him now as the Atom in the Arrowverse, I think he could've made a great Superman if he'd played the part the way he plays Ray Palmer.

Ray Palmer can be played any way you want before identity Crisis.

Superman has a 2 by four up his ass always.

If they have Tom as Bizarro or the Cyborg Superman, that sounds like a devious loop hole the lawyers will be scrambling to close.

Wow, this week's episode was a real cheese fest, was it not? Cat meeting up with her son and Kira/Kara bringing them together, arrrrwww and Winn is already staring to look creepy and the evil senator likes Supergirl at the end. Nice episode overall.

After this episode, I'm wondering if there is a rule that Supergirl, Henshaw, Jimmy Olsen and (sometimes) Kara's foster(?) sister are the only characters on this show who are allowed to be anything but irritating and/or horrible people. I wish we got the Martian Manhunter stuff on The Flash or Legends of Tomorrow, it deserves a much better show. So does Supergirl, actually.

Tom Welling wouldn't wear the suit when he had his own damn show. What makes you think he'll wear it for a cameo? Screw Tom Welling.
I would love for you to know the difference between "I would love..." and "I think what will happen is..." but I don't think that will happen.

Turn of the century, Oreo asked DC Comics to quit it.

The comic book had to invent a new imaginary cookie for John to lust after.

The urban legend was that he didn't want to look foolish.

It's a very popular urban legend that's bitter enough to have been made up by a different asshole.

Is there an interview where Tom specifically says that he's too cool to wear Superman's costume?
