Stuff that make you wonder but not own thread worthy

Also, I know the later retcon is that everyone has a universal translator and they're all really speaking different languages, but I still think everyone is normally speaking English.
I'm pretty sure everyone on Starfleet ships is speaking English at least. There was a Discovery episode where the UT went haywire and everyone on the bridge was speaking different languages, but that was the translator translating into the wrong thing.

I watched "The Schizoid Man" for the first time. I never knew W. Morgan Sheppard was in that! It was an interesting episode. I don't know how I feel about it honestly. I was entertained, I guess. The warp beam down thing was kinda dumb and pointless. Surely waiting five more seconds wouldn't have hurt. Picard talking about facing the end was kinda hilarious when he ends up in a robot body. I woulda rathered more original Graves than Data/Graves to be honest.

Aldea...how did they think they were gonna repopulate with just a few kids? ...and if they planet cloak was just light bending how'd they hide the gravity?

the anti-time anomaly has to grow forward in time in the future scenes.
I have two thoughts on that.
One, it's a Q pocket universe and therefore any laws of physics may or may not apply.
That's too much of a cop out so my second theory is that it grows in both directions, and takes time (no pun intended) to become detectable. Possibly longer in the anti time direction than in the normal time direction.

In AGT I took the beam in the future looking identical to the other ones because Data created all three of them
Hm, and it was Data in the past who said it? Then it could fix it cause he wouldn't know the present or future, so he'd think all 3 are the same Enterprise from his time.

Except for giving Data Lt. j.g. pips in the past scenes.
;)

You can tell we're Trek fans... I kept fixating on that!

I find it odd. They got everything else spot on. And it's not just one scene, it's every scene.

I did wonder if it was deliberate for a moment, like he gets promoted during Encounter at Farpoint. Adding to that he gave Yar the bridge not Data - and she's full LT. But I think it's unlikely. Especially as he'd have to jump an entire rank to be promoted.

On the one hand, I'm very curious how Kotto would have approved Picard.

On the other hand, Kotto never had a body for the spandex hell of the early uniforms.
Granted its based more on Gustavo Fring as opposed to Mike Giardello, but now that I think of it Giancarlo Esposito would have made a good shady Trek character

I saw one one of the extras that Marina Sirtis was not happy with the Worf/Deanna relationship. She said the writers had seen Beauty and the Beast too many times, and the story had been done before.

I found this an interesting comparison. Particularly calling Worf a "beauty".

I dunno. Kotto is already in one legendary sci-fi film, Alien. Not sure how having an iconic actor from one sci-fi franchise cross over to another one to play a main character would have worked. Kotto is a very good actor, though, and quite likeable, so maybe.
