They're not going to do a series set during TOS.Because they're going to want to use the SNW bridge or a variation of it for Kirk and Spock when they get there.

I agree. I don't know why they're supposedly going to redo TOS been repeated here so often like it's been greenlit already. They're not going to do a series set during TOS.

The difference is is: STAR WARS sets and props were always designed for feature film widescreen aspect.Rogue One had the overbridge on the Death Star look exactly the same, just with better lighting effects, 40 years later. Same for Yavin's Rebel command center. Time difference isn't the same for sets like it is for actors. You can recreate a set that you can't do with an actor (short of, again, expensive CGI).
So I view it as a conscious design change by the producers, and fans are free to have fan explanations to explain those changes. Nothing wrong with that.
Yes, they are. They're not going to do a series set during TOS.

They are going to need a Flagship show after Discovery and SNW end.
No, they're not. There's no indication of this at all.Yes, they are.![]()

All are canceled.Lower Decks? Prodigy? Section 31? Starfleet Academy? Worf?

If SNW sees any measurable success beyond the middling attention paid to Disco and Picard, then there will absolutely 100% be a TOS redux. As such, it's a very safe bet that there are already contingencies in the pipeline should such a situation arise.
Doubt it all you want to.I highly doubt it.
Nope.Lower Decks? Prodigy? Section 31? Starfleet Academy? Worf?
If that were true, they would have put Kirk in SNW.Doubt it all you want to.
But this is still a business first, and Kirk and Spock are -- and forever will be -- the high-ticket item.
If that were true, they would have put Kirk in SNW.
I agree with you here, but given how many years SNW might run, and that they probably only have one more Kelvin Film in them, I think this will be a non-issue by the time it would actually happen. What's better than the return of Kirk, Spock, and McCoy? I will hedge here and say this only happens if there are no more Kelvin films.
