Sternbach blueprints question

Here's how I thought it worked out (and marked up below):
  • Deck 1 Lower sat in the middle Deck 2, as if it's the donut hole to Deck 2 because it's a giant swappable module.
  • The forward green stairs you have marked technically go from Deck 1 Lower to Deck 3.
  • Similarly, the orange-arrow stairs (center-deck) start at Deck 1 Lower and go down to Deck 3.
  • The Observation Lounge is Deck 1 (upper) and the red shaded area you marked is overhead crawlspace to Deck 1 Lower. The windows on the screencap are... discrepancies? Much like the lower saucer deflector.

I think this could work. In that case there would be a quite long ramp needed from the base of the obs lounge down to deck 1 lower = deck 2

Or basically the ramp I marked needs to be moved down a little & extended.

Of course the windows could work but then deck 1 lower would have quite a high ceiling (for those rooms).

I don't have a whole lot of answers except to say that a bunch more work needs to be done to clean up the shapes and locations, especially the turbo paths. The cutaway really doesn't explain things away from the centerline, and I imagine that a separate Deck 1L layer would need to be generated to accurately place bit in the meter or so space below the bridge and the space extending forward marked in pink. Thank goodness vectors can be moved around with impunity. :) - Rick

Thank you for coming here from time to time. I hope you can unearth some more views of your ships from the Chronology.

These high-res screen caps a really great !

By the way what's the "m" marking stand for we see in the cutaway ?

That was a little internal reminder to myself to fill that space up with some machine bits. Or some other stuff that makes sense. I've got maybe a dozen more all over the cutaway that need attention. The Deck 1/1L forward section will need to be studied a bit more before I drop anything in there. The "m" at the aft portion isn't as critical. - Rick

Sorry to bother :(. But one more question.

Are these markings Verticle Jeffries tubes?

Meanwhile I have added some more pages I found (and some higher res pages of already found ones :D)

Just wondering if those ‘new’ canceled blueprints would have the same size as ‚old‘ ones - which are ANSI D 22 × 34 inches if I’m not wrong. Anybody knows ?

Yep. - Rick

....nothing I love more than coming into a conversation 4 years late.
Rick, apologies if this has been covered. Did you ever publish the revised blueprints? The ones with the *cough* *arboretum* *cough*?
Sorry, something stuck in my arboretum, THROAT. Something stuck in my throat.
Not arboretum.

No full set has been published since the 1994 Pocket Books effort, sorry. - Rick
