Cheap and free are not always better. In fact, it's often quite the opposite. The current system needs *some* adjusting -- not thrown out and replaced with socialism.

The mere notion of this thing being "free" is itself bogus. I haven't even touched on the question of WHO is going to pay for your socialism when we have (arguably...according to some sources) 20% unemployment.

Raising taxes on people who are trying to find a job and SURVIVE is sheer stupidity...people in New York (for example) can surely identify with what I am talking about.

But, that's just one aspect of this attrocity that is wrong...among many other aspects.

It's not partisan. I'd be against this madness if it came from a Republican or an Independent as well. In fact, it's BOTH parties that have sold out the US. There are no saints involved here.

I'm less insulted than amused, really. I find it hilarious that the supposed greatest nation ever in teh history of teh awezome apparently can't handle a bit of socialised medicine without becoming a communist Maoist dictatorship, when the rest of the Western world manages it just fine.
