I was remembering someone behind the scenes saying those had been changed out (after saying those two ships weren't there at all), but it never actually happened at any point during the season. Those etchings have been replaced with 4k screens that will cycle between different ships for Season 2.
Yeah, he forgot when the swap was done. They were filming Season 2 when Season 1 was airing so I could see where the confusion came from.I was remembering someone behind the scenes saying those had been changed out (after saying those two ships weren't there at all), but it never actually happened at any point during the season.
Love me some grand, 25th century Federation Flagship Enterprise. While not Picard related, it does give some nice views of the Odyssey model used in Picard.
Those are good looking.Drexler uploaded bunch of angles of his Excelsior II concept model

I've tried getting into it three or four times now. I want to enjoy it. But I find the introductory gameplay and the UI both to be impenetrably abstruse to the point where it feels more like a chore than a diversion. It was already clunky for 2010 when it released and now 13 years later gameplay standards have only moved farther ahead. If only STO's gameplay wasn't so clunky

I keep wishing that maybe it's not as arduous as I remember, but then I redownload it again and give up within a day.
I just want a Star Trek game made in the same vein as Mass Effect. Like..... there's your blueprint.... Do It!I just wanna have FPS (or centered 3rd person if necessary), and would like space battles to not last > 30 min like it's SFC![]()
Did Geordi ever command the Challenger for real? It would be interesting if he did and broke it and then used components to rebuild the E-D?
He says nacelles and engines, which maybe is the same thing as stardrive, or it's like a frankenstein of pieces. It's probably just the Syracuse but it also doesn't really matter. I'm more interested in did Geordi command the Challenger to be honest. Geordi's future has been like a multiple choice question. Did he write those books?Geordi said in "Vox" that he used the stardrive section from the USS Syracuse, not the Challenger.
