Spoilers Starship Design in Star Trek: Picard

Haha yeah that was my immediate thought too.

But Bev specifically used encryption that only Riker would be able to decode, so she must have known he'd get Riker involved.

And Riker's plan worked, although not as originally intended.

Riker said something to the effect that it was too far to charter a vessel.
 
One of the eagle-eyed lads at Trekyards spotted the model of a Federation-class dreadnought in Picard. This is the first visual conformation of a canon Franz Joseph design, and the first since the background dialogue in the Epsilon IX scene of TMP.
Yep! I watched the Trekyards episode when he spotted it as a . model in Ten Forward for sale in the episode.

They did a nice job of it too. It has the correct thicker and lower-angled nacelle pylons and I can’t be 100% sure, but it also looks like they also thickened up the primary hull too.

Not to shit in your cornflakes, so to speak, but this has been known for some time. It was in the Enterprise Log on the Star Trek Logs instagram and also has been mentione by Matalas in interviews
