Spoilers Starship Design in Star Trek: Picard

I like the Titan more than the Stargazer. If they make a new show with one of those, I'd prefer the Titan.

Before people say the Shrike is just "another big bad ship"... it's a long honored tradition. ;)

It isn't even that big compared to a lot of them, 660 meters in length according to the production staff. It looks big at the end because the Eleos is only around 120 meters.

I think the criticism (certainly mine) is it's a generic "big bad ship". Which aslo applies to the Scimitar and Nerada.
The warbird on the other hand is fantastic (looks like a green cylon in retrospect) and the Cube is iconic.

I like the touches of the TOS Enterprise-style deflector circle and hatch outlines on the underside of the secondary hull.

The Eleos may be smaller than a Nova-class. That shuttlecraft took up a lot of space docked on the primary hull.
It's EASILY smaller than the Nova-class or NX-class.

From eye-balling the size of the shuttle and it's rear airlock

It's no-where close to a 2## meter ship.

It's closer to somewhere beteen the:
La Sirena = 85.6 meters length
&
NX-76884 USS ProtoStar = 139.0 meters length

Exact #'s are obviously not here yet, but from what I can tell, it's not very big.

It seems that they (producers) don't have licence to show us some of 90s Federation ships in Star Trek Picard. Only Star Trek Online ships + Akira.

I mean it would be really nice to see Defiant class or Galaxy class or Nebula class.

That is probably a conscience choice by the Producer rather than a production restriction.
Kurtzman Trek has complete access to everything CBS owns since day one of TOS.
(the one exception being some of the Franz Joseph materials)

There's a Defiant class and Intrepid class in the end credits, and there's a Sovereign class flying around outside Spacedock.

Season 2 Episodes 1 and 10 had several Sovereign Classes, and we saw a Steamrunner and Nova Class in Episode 2.

They have the rights to use everything from the movies and shows.

Is it me, or does the Eleos seem kinda small, even smaller than the NX-01

The Eleos is around 119 meters long.
