It is kind of ironic, there are a lot of characters on that memorial wall who apparently have not gotten any further promotions since we last saw them, while Harry Kim is the one to get promoted the furthest since we last saw him.

Having Preston randomly in there with all the other names makes so little sense to me. In-universe, I don't think a newbie cadet would be on equal footing with some of the most legendary names to have graduated from the Academy.

Never! That was a typo. It's suppose to read as ADM BARRY KIM. Other dude in Starfleet who just happened to have a similar name. Hopefully Starfleet will fix the typo so our beloved Barry can get the honor he is due.
