Sounds like it.Whatever contact Star Wars Theory had with LFL did not automatically preclude anyone from Disney intervening.
This is...not surprising.
Yeah... It is a very good film, but it's hard to conclude he really understands what a fan film is.He says not monetizing it is like going to work and not getting paid. I don't think making a fan film should be compared to working for a living. It's not something that you're supposed to make money off of.
Kor
Well, see, that represents the issues that I had with the monetization problem that I indicated upthread initially. This account is definitely at odds with what Star Wars Theory presented in their video. The account in the video painted a picture that didn't fit together in a plausible way. This paints a much more plausible picture. So turns out it wasn't Disney one who claimed monitization on the Music, it was distributor who owns the licence to distribute it from Disney.

Update--
Because then he is no longer a victim. Why doesn't he just make a new version of Episode 1 with all original music?
Sure. Why not? All's well that ends well?
LucasFilm has always been mostly positive towards fan creations.Wow. That's awesome. Didn't expect that.
It's still a fan production for an officially licensed one. I would be surprised at a "Star Trek Continues-esque" style series, but hopefully the fan passion will continue. Now if only the next episode of this Vader series can film. Hell, a TV series might be nice.
