Well, the Subway® Shops here have a Star Wars™ "Large Drink with Footlong Meal" promotion. The Cups are reasonably hard poly-whatever, but the pictures and graphics printed on the cups, as well as those prints on the Promotional Posters look faded, like stuff does when you leave it in the window too long.

That's interesting. Are they trying to invoke the 'retro' feel of Star Wars promotional glasses from good old yesteryear?
I think we're in reasonably safe spoiler free territory with this bit about the faded cups. I want to get those cups, faded or otherwise. I still have my trusty popcorn tub from Star Trek: 2009.

The LA Times seems to have the best collection of (non spoilery) reactions, and so far it looks really positive. Well, with the exception of Faraci who apparently didn't think it was original enough. Or something.

Yeah, not going to be reading any reviews of the movie, spoilery or non-spoilery.. Dont want to even know if the "public" likes it or hates it. Dont want to have any preconceptions of the movie and will have a complete internet-blackout tomorrow. Ok, maybe will quickly and very carefully check some threads around the web. Luckily I have some real work to do.

A review thread should be started because it opens in several places in Europe tomorrow, including Belgium where I will be seeing it tomorrow evening.
