Star Wars Rebels Season Three (spoilers)

The DVD/Blu-Ray of Season 2 doesn't come out til the end of the month, I'll definitely be getting from Netflix as soon as it does.

I wonder if he'll have a mind palace where he keeps all his knowledge.

I hope the show uses Thrawn better than Zahn did. I know that probably sounds like I silly thing to say, but I always thought the character started out great, only to become way too omniscient by the end.

^They didn't "keep" him canon at all, they've made him canon. The EU was never canon so far as the movies were concerned and neither was Thrawn. Now he is.

While its weird that I'm posting this, if I have to suffer through this being on my youtube homepage I might as well spread it to people who might actually care. A Rebels video released yesterday:

My (very predictable) opinion: As bad as all the other stuff. Nothing more to say about it.

StarWars.com posted a new overview of the first two seasons of Rebels. The premiere is tomorrow night.
I'm thinking I might start getting Season 2 from the Netflix after I get finished with my current disc.
I really wish they had it streaming. I know that Netflix's big Disney deal was supposed to include Star Wars stuff, so I'm hoping maybe they'll add it sometime soon.

The booming voice of Tom Baker:

So they pretty much confirmed that Phoenix Squadron and the Ghost crew are separate from the the guys at Yavin IV.

Solid premiere, though after all the hype I did find a few things disappointing, namely the introductions of Bendu and Thrawn. Both were handled very perfunctorily and with little impact. If I wasn't an EU fan, I'm sure Thrawn would have just appeared to be yet another Imperial commander. He didn't do anything particularly memorable, and his introduction scene was particularly just there.

And if Bendu is really supposed to be a major new third aspect of the Force... that sure was a lame way to introduce him. Oh hi I just happen to live a block away from your base. Let me teach you to sense spiders and then wander off. Bye!

The action scenes were pretty cool, though the opening one took the Stormtroopers' piss poor aim to embarrassing new lows... It's a little weird watching that kind of blatant unreality just after the very dark and mature and violent season finale...

it was a bit convenient for Bendu to be on the same planet as the base. i'm tired of seeing Hondo though. i never cared for him in Clone Wars, not crazy about him in Rebels. please go away for awhile.

Bendu kind of looks like he's formed from a hill, maybe he didn't happen to conveniently be on the same planet but manifests himself where needed. A Yoda that makes house calls.
