Star Wars Rebels Season Four (spoilers)

I'm pretty sure they should be up on the Disney XD app, but since I don't get that channel I don't have access to the app. It's kind of random with the Disney XD shows on the Now app, they have the full episodes of Ducktales, Spider-Man and of Guardians of the Galaxy but not Avengers: Secret Wars, and they have Season 2 episodes of SW: Freemaker Adventures.

The material in question has apparently now been blocked. We take a conservative approach when it involves copyrighted material.
This two-parter completely made up for the season opener two-parter.

Linking isn't piracy. Uploading them, whoever did that, was.

Otherwise the video thread in Misc. would have been locked a long time ago.

There is a difference between posting clips from shows and posting an entire episode.

Discussing piracy isn't allowed according to the mods.

Anyways, Disney has taken the videos down.

This is copyrighted material. Regardless of how it ended up on YT or elsewhere, the copyright owners have had said material blocked. YOu have now received a warning for promoting piracy. If there is any further discussion, please take it to PM.

Incidentally, the Board Rules can be found here:
https://www.trekbbs.com/rules/

And they explicitly address by stating "no promoting piracy"

I was puzzled by the freighter's female commander whose voice we heard over the comms and whom the crew kept talking about. It seemed they were setting her up as some important or mysterious figure to be revealed later. But then the whole ship blew up and there was apparently no way off it, so I guess I misconstrued.

Jennifer Hale playing a military Commander wearing black armor, well that's just unprecedented! ;)

Seriously though, I knew I recognised that voice even through the Death Trooper filter, but it wasn't until she spoke over the comlink that I clocked who it was. Personally I think it's great they added in a female Stormtrooper for no particular reason.

Also, anyone else noticing they're killing off all of their recurring Imperial characters? First Titus, then Slavin. Who's left besides Thrawn & Price? Brunson? (No, Tarkin doesn't count.)

This week we get a Krennic mention and one for Jedha. We still don't know why Saw was all messed up in Rogue One.

I don't know, he's not that far off. We saw how he's getting increasingly obsessed, that's not too short a leap to paranoia. Like say if he was injured in an assassination attempt from someone he trusted? Just a guess mind.

Great episodes once again... Definitely liking all the tie ins to the movies... You can really sense that things are just about to happen. Rebels has never shied away from deaths, but they have really amped it up so far this season. It doesn't bother me, but just seems like they are really trying to come in line with the movies when it comes to the danger and the stakes..

So when the kyber crystal destabilizes, the Death Trooper orders an evacuation. But with the kyber crystal lost, aren't everyone on that ship basically write-offs as far as the Empire is concerned? The DT even notes earlier in the episode to the ship's commander that losing the crystal will be on both their heads, certainly other stormtroopers who failed to protect the crystal aren't going to be welcome by their superiors? Or is this a rare example of a noble Imperial who didn't see the point in her subordinates dying in a lost cause?

Also, when does Rex start wearing the new Rebel uniform we saw the concept drawings for online months back? He was still wearing his ill-fitting clone trooper armour, although we did get our first look at Kallus's new look.

Do you mean the one that made him look like "Nik Sant" from Return of the Jedi? I thought that turned out to be just a bit of concept art someone on the staff did for fun, rather than something they're confirmed to be actually doing.

What I'm finding interesting is that this season is very quickly starting to tie up loose ends. Last season saw a resolution to Sabine's Mandalorian arc, next week seems to finally be about the return to Lothal and of course, this week ties the larger arc ever more closely into the movies.
That plus the fact it seems we're quickly running out trailer footage has me very curious for what the second half of the season has in store.

Are you suggesting they all should have just given up and died? One thing Star Wars has been pretty consistent with is that evildoers are generally pretty selfish and value their own hides more than anyone else's. Yeah, Krennic may have had them all shot for incompetence, but I'm sure half of them were willing to take the risk that they could blame it all on the other half. Almost certain death later on is almost always preferable to absolute certain death in the next 60 seconds.

So far as I'm aware it was presented without comment and in a very coy fashion. That plus Filloni previously stating that he's determined that 'beardy Endor trooper being Rex is a thing' is something he's determined to make happen. So mostly people are just making assumptions.

Personally I'd say wait a while since I don't think all that much time has passed since 'Zero Hour'. (A few weeks at most. Kanan and Ezra hadn't even been to Yavin 4 prior to this.)
As I've stated before, the key art for this season seems to show Sabine with yet another new hair colour, so we may be in for a little time jump soon.
