What I never understood is why he felt the need to jetpack over to the other skiff...just to point a blaster at Luke in convenient slashing range. I mean surely he could have fired that thing from where he was, no? Maybe it's just his in-experience dealing with Jedi, but it still feels a little stupid. I don't mind how he died so much since clearly that armour is not designed for close quarters fighting, I just question why he chose to jump into a melee next to a Jedi and a Wookiee.
...maybe R2 spiked his drink?
Well to give Boba the benefit of the doubt, maybe he realized the first plan of attack (the blaster) might not work, and he would need to be closer to use his other weapons (the rope, flamethrower, etc). Or maybe he just wanted to be a badass and confront this Jedi one on one.
What I don't understand from that scene is how he somehow falls
flat on his face shortly thereafter after the skiff gets slightly jolted. Does this skilled, fearsome bounty hunter really not have a better sense of balance than that? Lol
