Star Trek Timelines

^ I noticed an increase in skill points.
They redid the daily rewards system, I think the rewards are more valuable. The thing that made me laugh is that they replaced Wesley with Tuvok in the rewards system. I guess people didn't want to shout "Shut up, Wesley!" at their phones.
I like the new rewards system. I hope each month, there is a different blue character that give away as a daily reward.

Agreed. What characters are people focusing on upgrading right now? I've got a lot of TNG characters, Picard, Riker, Data, Worf, Beverly, Pulaski, Wesley and I have been focusing on them. I have one epic character that I'd love to upgrade, the Female Changeling, but despite doing a lot of Dominion faction transmissions, can't get what I need to upgrade her.

I normally avoid Freemium games like the plague, but have been giving Timelines a good go only because it's Trek. Like others, I'm unwilling to pay, as I don't see much "game", really. Unlocking more content only really gives you the ability to work at unlocking more content...

Nonetheless, joined the TrekBBS fleet.

I spent about $15 because I think it's a nice little game and I hope they will make enough money to make it better. (I currently have a Freemium game of my own on the app stores, so I'm not really against the model.) Spending that amount gave me a nice boost in available characters and I don't see any reason to spend anymore for a good while.

There are lots of improvements to the UI that could be made to make repetitive tasks easier, I hope they are coming.

My best character is a level 38 Wesley. He always gets an A.

I thought putting some money into the game around a week after launch. Currently got a green Sisko at level 44, while Data is at 40. At the moment, trying to get my diplomacy above 110 on a few characters.

Diplomacy is key to so many of the faction missions I've done recently (a lot of them didn't go well) upgrading enough people with diplomatic skill isn't easy.

^ I've got two of characters over 100 points in diplomacy, and Janeway is in the 90s. Agreed about being hard. Picard sat at level 20 for over a week, as I couldn't get that damn novel he needed. Now it's the saddle. Should get that sometime tomorrow.

My Picard has been at level 20 for almost two and a half weeks. His earl grey is insanely hard to get and despite running at least a dozen federation transmissions, no earl grey.

Currently mine is at level 36. his diplomacy score is around 135. Finished off episode 4 earlier today. Gonna upgrade more characters before taking on Episode 5.

The free Janeway has been a godsend, she's not hard to equip and gets great stats. I find myself going back to her, both Crushers and picking a three star engineer and three star security expert to focus on. For Diplomacy I wound up with Morn, which isn't the best equipping scenario. Winn seems to be an easier prospect if you don't have Picard.

I'm sorry to hear that. I still find it entertaining, the emphasis on grinding to level up characters in order to proceed further in the story is a little much. I'm enjoying building up my crew.

There's only so many times I'm willing to replay the same single mission in order to gain one rare item I need in order to increase one player's stats to I can play the next mission.

There is zero point to the pew-pew battles. You win them.
There is no control over the away missions. Your crew either has enough ability to win it or it doesn't and it makes the final stage of the mission unobtainable. I maybe had one away mission in the gray area of "might win it, might not."

Just joined your fleet. I'm at level 11 and been playing for a couple of days now. I'm stuck on Episode 2 with the "Cardassion Hospitality" mission. I'm in dire need for a doctor.

I have a Constellation Class ship with:

Kirk at level 20
Spock 20
Dax 20
Odo 10
Tuvok 10
Yar 10
Worf 10
Trip 10
Chakotay 10
Wesley 10 despite him always getting an A
Keiko 10
Mayweather 10
Torres 10
Troi 10
Sulu 10

I don't know what the colors signify. Green, Gray, White, Blue

Welcome to the fleet!

The crew colors in ascending order from least to most valuable are:
Gray is common
Green is uncommon
Blue is rare
Purple is super rare
Gold is legendary
